The soil temperature and humidity sensor is based on the FDR (Frequency Domain Reflection) principle. It uses an FDR layered tube-type soil moisture measurement method. By detecting changes in the frequency of electromagnetic waves emitted by the probe in materials with different dielectric coefficients, the sensor calculates soil moisture levels.
It can be widely used for drought monitoring, soil research at different depths, intelligent irrigation systems, and agricultural soil temperature and moisture measurement.
